Matthew Nance

 

The 2016 season will be Coach Nance’s third year leading the Zionsville boys volleyball program. He looks to continue the program’s growth and quality of play as started in the recent years.

 

In 2013, Coach Nance’s first season, he served as a volunteer coach, specifying in developing the setters. The 2013 season resulted in a 12-12 record with a loss in the regional to Carmel.  During his first season as head coach, the Eagles posted a 13-13 record and were Regional Champions.  Coach Nance looks to improve upon that record and return to the state tournament in late May 2016.

 

While Zionsville is Coach Nance’s first official coaching opportunity, he served as a student coaching assistant for the DePauw University women’s team, which in 2010 made the NCAA Div. III tournament. Coach Nance graduated from DePauw in 2010 and from Eastern Illinois University in 2012 with a Masters in College Student Affairs.
